Our local economy took a hard hit with the mill in Gilman closed its doors in 2002. Since then good paying jobs located within a reasonable commuting distance have been hard to come by. Attracting jobs to the district is my number one priority. I will take an active roll legislatively introducing bills that would offer businesses incentives if they take advantage of the pool of hard workers here in our area. Like Ronald Reagan said, the best social program is a job.
